The personal touch
Traditional builder, Chris Dove, who works for Shane Homes, is well experienced in the building trade and he knows the right people to turn to when in need of a quality lending service. And that's Helmsley.
In the business for over 30 years, the Dove family have had good times as well as frustrating times and they have experienced the unsuccessful battle with high street banks to get the much needed finances needed for the projects they wanted to do.
From experience, Chris believes that high street banks are not expertly tuned in to specific business interests and this poses a problem for small to medium sized builders/developers such as himself. In his opinion, Helmsley are an exception. Since finding out about them many years ago, he has continued to use the service they offer because of their specialist understanding of the industry.

"We specialise in bespoke property developments, mainly residential, and individuality in design is a prime factor. Through the support of Helmsley we have been involved of a range of memorable projects, from residencies in the heart of Beverley, to a very substantial 7,000sq ft barn conversion, which achieved unspoilt splendour and recently sold for £900,000."
Chris plans to continue working closely with Helmsley on numerous Shane Homes projects in the future.
