What is an Eco Business Centre?
An Eco Business Centre is a purpose built environmentally friendly sustainable innovation, incubator and serviced business centre. Designed specifically for the needs of small emerging businesses requiring small flexible modern accommodation the Eco Business Centre satisfies the wide ranging demands of many small enterprises.
At The Helmsley Group we have designed and are currently building an Eco Business Centre in York for the City Council. This is a blueprint that can be replicated on other sites for other local authorities and further education providers, allowing them to nurture new businesses and grow the local economy.
The Eco Business Centre provides modern office, studio and light industrial/workshop accommodation arranged around a central courtyard benefiting from the provision of a management suite, cafe and exhibition space allowing occupiers to interact and exchange ideas.
The blueprint allows ultimate flexibility giving you the opportunity to create a layout that allows your occupiers to grow and expand. The Eco Business Centre sits on a 1 acre (0.40 hectares) site and extends to 20,000 sq ft (1,860 sq m) approx. over ground and first floors, accommodating up to 60 individual units.
