Syndicated loans

If your clients are looking for a short-term investment opportunity secured against property and delivering returns of around 10 to 12%p.a, then consider syndicated loans. Our commercial lending service provides the finances to enable individuals and property developers to purchase a property or a piece of land. The loans are always secured against the subject property by way of a first charge. Your clients can participate in the loans, either in whole or in part, by syndication with other like-minded investors . They then become beneficially entitled to a proportion of the security, the interest and the capital of the loan.

Yields

In order to achieve a balanced portfolio your clients may wish to invest in both syndicated property and syndicated loans. In doing so they are spreading their risk across properties and products, whilst participating in long and short-term investment strategies, all secured against property. This will result in a ‘blended' yield. For example, Client A has £100,000 to invest. They place £50,000 in a syndicated property delivering 6%p.a. and they place £50,000 in a syndicated loan with 12%p.a. returns. From their total £100,000 investment they will achieve a ‘blended' yield of 9%p.a.
