The Helmsley Group has strengthened its property development arm with the appointment of Alastair Gill. Alastair joins Helmsley from UK property consultants King Sturge LLP where he spent three years most recently as a partner with the company. Previously, Alastair worked as a senior surveyor at DTZ. In his new role Alastair will be responsible for identifying commercial property development and investment opportunities in which Helmsley specialises. Commenting on the appointment Helmsley chairman John Reeves said: "With Alastair's specialist expertise in all aspects involving the sale, acquisition, marketing, development and leasing of office property, he is bringing valuable experience to The Helmsley Group. Having worked with him regularly in the past we know that he undserstands the marketplace and we are confident that he will be a key part of the team."
